Opened in 1989, Silver Woods can be reached by The Long Island Expressway Exit  57 S to Veterans Highway and left on Old Nichols Road.  Silver Woods is surrounded by street names of Sutton Place, Erhardht Way, Beekman Place, Elaine Place and Max Court.

Opened in the 1990′s, The Highlands can be reached by Route 25A to North Country Road. Head South on Oakland Avenue, make a left on Highlands Blvd and up to the community entrance.
This Suffolk County North Shore Condo neighborhood consists of attached Condos in groupings, surrounded by Windward Drive, Windward Ct and Leeward Lane.
The community offers an outdoor pool, tennis and gym. The Highlands is convenient to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital, and is only one block from the Long Island Railroad Port Jefferson Station.
