Have you ever wondered what the difference was between a home advertised as being a Waterfront property and one that is listed as a Water View?water tree
 
Waterfront are homes that have direct frontage to the water. However, you many not have access to the water if the house sits high on a bluff with no steps down to the water, or it may be too short to accommodate a dock for your boat, but is still considered Waterfront.  
 
Water View means you can see the water. It be may be on the other side of the street, but you somehow have a view of the water with no direct frontage to it. There are full Water Views, and some Realtor’s list a home that they interpret as “Winter Water Views”. This means that during the warmer weather when trees and plantings are in full bloom, you cannot see the water. However, when all the leaves are gone, there is probably some space to view the water.

They liked the clubhouse, the indoor and outdoor pools, the gym, billiards, library, the tennis court and the putting green.

Setauket Meadows was opened in 2005 for those 55 and over who were looking for a more leisure lifestyle. You enter the community at the gated entrance with a touch-pad call system at Setauket Meadows, which sits on 27 acres.  The Street names in the community are Emily’s Way, Blair Road, Brianna Drive and Cove Lane. Two scenic ponds with spraying fountains welcome you as you enter and exit the community.

You can reach Setauket Meadows by Route 347 N to Old Town Road in Suffolk County. Setauket Meadows in East Setauket Long Island are attached townhouses with three designs. It offers clubhouse, pools, tennis, gym. There are lovely ponds throughout the community. A monthly common charge maintains the lawns and common areas and facilities, and snow is shoveled.

Willow Ridge At Smithtown Long Island is a homeowner’s association community located by Jericho Turnpike Route 25A and St. Johnland. There is a clubhouse, pool and tennis. Opened in 1988 with 4 floor plans. A monthly common charge maintains the common areas of the community. These are attached units in groupings along Willow Ridge Drive.

The Regency is located by St Johnland and 25A next to the Willow Ridge community. Opened in 1991, there are no amenities at this Townhouse community, but it is a well-maintained neighborhood surrounded by Stone Gate Court. There are no amenities here, just a well-maintained community near Main Street, the Long Island Railroad, plenty of shopping, restaurants and more. These are upper and ground level units, that was opened in 2007, with basement in the lower unit. Each unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. No garages here, but 1 parking space is allocated for each owner. Country Pointe by Middle Country Road is close to the Smith Haven Mall. Opened in 1996, Northwood is a small community on Long Island’s North Shore in Huntington New York.
