The Greens in Melville Long Island is an active 55 and over golf community in Suffolk County, on Long Island’s North Shore.You can reach The Greens by the Long Island Expressway Exit 50 or the Northern State Parkway Exit 41.  Opened in 2003, The Greens in Melville is a gated community featuring 24 hour security. The Greens at Half Hollow monitors those who enter and exit the community providing a secure environment for the residents.  

 

 

There is a variety of housing styles at The Greens in Melville. The Villas are semi-attached homes with three designs including a ranch, a 2 story with master on the main level, and a colonial with all bedrooms on the upper floor. Each of these Villas has a 2 car garage, some may have a basement, and some have golf views. These Villas are at the higher end of the pricing structure at The Greens. 

 

 

The next group is the Townhouses. These are 4 attached townhouses grouped together.  The interior units have a 1 car garage, and the two end units have a 2 car garage. The master bedroom is on the main level, and some of these townhouses may have a basement and some may have an elevator up to the loft area. 

 

 

The most affordable units at The Greens are the condos. These are all attached units with 2 cozy floor plans either on the upper or ground level. They do not have any garage space, but there is ample parking in front of the condo.
