 Preparing your home for sale is necessary when it comes to getting every dollar you can at the sale. Things that a seller may consider unimportant may be a concern to a potential buyer. Perception is important when it comes to selling your home.

Here are some tips to help prepare your home for a sale…

  Outdoors:

  • Mow and trim the lawn and shrubs.  

  • Plant flowers for color. 

  • Clean the windows and the exterior of your home.

  • Get rid of any debris that doesn’t belong in the yard.

Indoors:

  •  Pack any unnecessary items and get rid of your collectibles. It’s your stuff, but it’s clutter to a buyer.
